The the following Saturday, 28 November, Schwartz will present a keynote address at the City campus of Bangkok University as part of an anniversary celebration.

Designed by Kai Bernau, Lyon is a modern interpretation of the classic Renaissance typefaces, and in particular the work of Robert Granjon. The family has recently been adopted by the New York Times for its magazines and Mark Porter's redesign of Internazionale, a newsweekly based in Rome.
T, the New York Times Sunday style magazine, has commissioned a number of typefaces from Commercial Type partner Christian Schwartz. The latest was Giorgio Sans, designed to help their layouts keep up with changing bleeding-edge fashion trends for their Spring/Summer 2009 issues. Having done its job for T the family is now available for licensing, having been augmented with alternate forms to keep it fresh.
With their 5th Anniversary issue, T, the New York Times Sunday style magazine, has unveiled their first complete redesign since the magazine was founded. As part of this redesign, Berton Hasebe has drawn a hairline Fraktur called Karl.
