Esquire’s appetite for variations on Stag continued with Stag Sans Round, commissioned in 2009 to freshen up their front section. The slight swelling in terminals, inherited from the blunt forms in the original, gives this family an organic quality unusual for a rounded sans, and the heaviest weights retain enough of their masculine power not to become too soft.
Ross Milne and Christian Schwartz (2009)
